Blade 15: change the default lighting effects?

No matter how I configure my LIGHTING EFFECTS, every time I log out or quit Razer Synapse/Central lighting returns to "Spectrum cycling". Obviously, I'd want _my choice_ to become the default. How do I make that happen?

    Without Synapse running in the background, the default lighting effects will be on display and not your preferred one. You can minimize Synapse so you can enjoy the lightings of your choosing.
