Blade 15: change the default lighting effects?

No matter how I configure my LIGHTING EFFECTS, every time I log out or quit Razer Synapse/Central lighting returns to "Spectrum cycling". Obviously, I'd want _my choice_ to become the default. How do I make that happen?
