Blade Stealth 2016 (rz09-01962e10) Battery Bulging

I finally got around to opening up my Blade Stealth to replace the SSD with a much larger replacement, and I discovered that the reason my laptop had a slight gap between the screen and the base when closed was the battery starting to bulge. I took out the battery while swapping out the SSDs and am setting back up my system on the new drive with the laptop plugged in. I'd really like to have as little time as possible that I can't be using my laptop, but a lot of the replacements purchasable online seem really sketchy. From what I can find searching support forums the only way to get an official replacement battery without warranty in the past has been through "out of warranty repair". If due to the current pandemic it is actually possible to buy an official battery and have it shipped to me that would be fantastic; otherwise I would like to know how much an out of warranty repair would cost and what sort of time frame they generally take to be completed.
