I purchased today a razer keyboard and then downloaded “software” from your website, to make it clear the only reason I download your “software” is to stop the keyboard lights changing colour, it’s absolutely cringeworthy.

1: plugin in keyboard and get a slow disco light show,
2: download the software from your website and install
3: computer grinds to a halt and says it’ll take 30 minutes to install a 30MB download, reboot.
4: after reboot machine starts sending looping crash reports
5: run installer again and it completes, but machine must reboot again, 
6: I now get the black razer login screen, but can’t use the “software” until I log in… Why?!
7: dig out my password because the “software” isn’t integrated with any of the main IdP providers, I choose to option to remember my login so I won’t have to type it my password again.
8: after login, I have more updates to install (even though I’ve just downloaded the “software” from your website)
9: have to reboot again :/
10: have to login to the razer app again :/
11: device is not detected, unplug, plug back in, still not detected
12: check the box the keyboard came in, yes it is “synapse” capable; synaspe, that sounds like brains, and connection, and smart stuff.
13: hunt online and find a forum post that says only 10.14. I cannot comment on the post because the thread is locked. Look at the timing of posts on the thread, as soon as the support representative has responded effectively “yeah, not supported”, thread is locked.
14: I go back to https://www.razer.com/synapse-2 and see the text below the button 10.10 to 10.14

Why put me through all this, just tell me when the installer starts that your “software” isn’t going to work, or throw a pop up when the download link is click clearly stating that your “software” isn’t compatible with most apple macs; who runs a macos that is v10.14 old in 2023.

All I want is a keyboard that isn’t a disco, please help you can even choose the colour I DON’T CARE!
