BSOD "Page Fault" when installing Geforce driver 460.79 on Razer Blade 15

Hey there, on a freshly installed Windows10 Pro with latest 20H2 update, installing the latest geforce driver (460.79) cause s a BlueScreenOfDeath "Page Fault In Nonpaged Area". It completely trashed my system, because, when I first encountered it, Windows was installing it's update in the background (without me noticing), while I was installing the latest Geforce driver. Because that BSOD happened in the middle of a windows feature update, I was never able to boot afterwards. So, I backed up my, data and did a clean install of windows. AFTER all the windows updates, I tried to install the Geforce driver, and the bluescreen happened again. But this time, I was able to boot normally afterwards. Because I had latest Geforce driver before the 460.79, and nothing was happening, except the driver install, I think it is an unholy combination of my hardware, that driver and maybe the Windows version. My specs: Win10 Pro, 20H2 update Razer Blade 15 2018 Advanced Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070 Max-Q So, there is no solution here, but I'll try to use an older driver and see if that works. But I expect it will work. I also posted this in windows forums and Nvidia forums. Any feedback - especially official one - is appreciated. Update: using an old driver does not work at all. Any Geforce driver I try causes the blue screen. Device manager says the device has a problem and was disabled. I'm completely unsure if that is related to the windows update or if the hardware is broken. The latter would be strange though, beacuse it happened completely our of the 'blue'. Cheers, Timo

Update: after trying various scenarios, with different Windows 10 feature versions and different Nvidia drivers (current one down to the driver that is on the Razer download page for that model) - the outcome is always the same. Page fault blue screen, while device manager states that the device was disabled because it was not working properly. I also installed a Linux with the recommended Nvidia drivers. After that the XServer variant wasn't loading anymore. Logs say that the driver module was loaded but didn't function properly. All that tells me that it is clearly a hardware issue. I would love to check the VRAM somehow - but without drivers, I don't think it's possible. It is a shame. But it is, what it is.
