Hi, my Razer Blade 15 Base Model built-in camera is shown as missing (or sometime wrongly saying already in use) and can’t be used. I have done all the troubleshooting seen from the support, uninstalling and reinstalling from device manager, check drivers and everything.
It seem to be an issue lot of people are having and seem to be a systematic defect, maybe worse, planned obscellesence so it fail just after the warranty period.
What is razer doing about that?
Razer still accepting repair out of guarantee period. If software troubleshooting didn’t work try to check display and webcam connector, mine 2018 advanced was also lost connection once, right after repasting job that needs to disconnect the webcam connector. I found I didn’t gently slot in the connector properly, reslot it brought the camera back in my case. Maybe worth to try.
