+ button greyed out on Macros setting

I just tried to set up a macro on synapse so that I can put my computer to sleep easier but when I went to go set it up, I couldn't press the + sign to add a macro. for some reason the only thing I can press is the record button and the thing beside it to choose recording settings. everything else is greyed out and I can not press any of them.

Nevermind. I got it to work but now my media control buttons won't work. I have the Cynosa v2

Does the Media control keys of your keyboard work without Synapse in the background? Let's perform a clean reinstallation of Synapse by following the steps on this page. But if the problem persists, PM me the serial number of your keyboard. I can use it to verify its model and look for another way to fix this. *Thread locked to curb the conversation to PMs.
