Buying a Second-Hand Headset, What Should I Look Out For?

Hiii, I have never bought a razer product before and I recently found a second hand Kraken Kitty edition headset in my budget from a dealer (not an official re-seller) and I'm wondering: - Can I still (re-)register this product as my own? - Activate some of the features on the apps- such as chroma and the 7.1 surround sound feature which requires an activation code?
