Can't capture PS3 to RIPSAW via both Component AV multi or HDMI
Hello!
While I know about hdcp, and that HDMI won't work without some special kind of splitter (I have 2 different splitters at my house, they both do not bypass hdcp), I connected PS3 via AV multi as per the instruction manual says. I get nothing, not even "no signal" popup on my OBS (its SLOBS to be exact, but checked it out in regular OBS as well). When I fiddeled around the source settings, changed the input video to component of course, I got visuals and audio at... 576i resolution, but only in OBS and not on the monitor I will be playing. If I change it something else within OBS, like a different resolution, or video formatu (PAL/NTSC etc.) I get blank black screen, or a message saying "Signal our of range please change resolution etc.). I know my monitor CAN output my PS3 - I connected it with HDMI without RIPSAW and it works, in 1080i no less. I've contacted the Razer support about this but I have yet to get an answer from them. I know for a fact that component cable should work without any problems so I'd love to get that to work, if not, I'd be looking for another splitter I can get that someone can rec that bypasses the hdcp. Also do I need 2 of them if I have a splitter connecting my ripsaw to my monitor, because I have to switch to desktop?
