HELP!!!
This stupid alert box won't go away!! I click either option and NOTHING happens. I have uninstalled and reinstalled synapse twice, repaired synapse, uninstalled other camera software, and done multiple restarts. Nothing seems to work, and I just want to change the settings of my camera for my stream. Is there anyone who has a fix this is getting beyond frustrating!!

I have this same issue! Anyone know what to do?
same problem.... ;-(((
I just got my Kiyo today (Finally-Everyone has been sold out or asking 199.99) But it was working for about 15 minutes and all of a sudden I have the same issue. Choosing either option has no effect. Razer please advise.
the problem exists since 2019 and everybody (me included) must be an idiot to believe that somebody at razer really cares about that problem. I will return mine. go get an logitech for a few dollar more, the kiyo light is relatively useless, the autofocus is crap, and of course, the software is useless. get an logitech, they care about major issues and you can be sure, the software is working.
Same problem, but I also can't use it anymore on any program. It also worked for only 15 minutes on stream then died on me for good.
I have the same problem. The Kiyo worked great at first. I was messing around with the settings, then it stopped when I restarted my computer. I've had multiple issues with Razer's products in the past, and it's really starting to get annoying. One of their wireless mice that costs $150 doesn't work wirelessly anymore, because the wireless connector broke in one of my USB ports. I've reached out to their support multiple times, and I'm really starting to get frustrated. I'll probably be leaving the Razer ecosystem for good if they don't do something about #1 their software and #2 their customer support. My mouse broke 3 weeks ago, and they still haven't even bothered to update me and tell me they're looking at my case. Razer, get it together!
i returned the cam... bad hardware, much worse software..... now i have a Logitech, and it works like a charm.... btw... never had any problems with software related to Logitech... their products "just work" ... and they seem to invest 500% more in their software as many other companies!
same problem..... someone to help????
@illusionstuck that problem is older than one year, your solution: forget it and buy something that works. BTW, the cam quality for that price is awful, there is really no real reason to buy this product.
just bumping, have the same issue. just purchased today. it works outside Synapse which is fine for now. But would really like it to work you know, with Synapse
Also have the same problem! Come on Razer and help us fix it?!?!?!
I have this problem within 12 hours after unboxing
Exact same problem within minutes of unboxing.
Same problem.
Same problem while it has been functioning well for a month.I don't know what caused this.
Same issue, i spoke to Razer and they have moved my problem to there level 2 support (Im guessing thats code for we dont have a clue) This has got to be a firmware issue as it was working fine for like a month in Synapse software, then last night i noticed exactly the same thing, glad im not the only one as its been stressing me out, when it works its awesome for sure, but this is just annoying...

Hey everyone! Thanks for posting your Razer Kiyo and Synapse 3's concern here. Please perform the following steps below and see if it helps:
• Go to Control Panel ► System & Security ► System ► Device Management ► Cameras ► Razer Kiyo.
• Double-click Razer Kiyo.
• Open Device Driver ► Update ► Search on my Computer ► Select from a list on my computer.
• Select USB video device.
• Restart your computer.
Should the issue persists, please gather your Razer Synapse 3.0 logs, save the compressed files via Google Drive, or any online drive account, then submit a ticket then send the paste the online drive link in your notes. Else, send me a PM.

Yep, didn't work.
Now, if you click on broadcaster, Synapse shuts down. How wonderful.
Will gather logs, submit a ticket, and consider Logitech.

Exactly.
Same issue for me. I have been using this webcam since March, and have had no issues. A couple weeks ago I noticed my settings randomly changed, and when I loaded up synapse I started getting this bug. I have clean reinstalled everything. Strongly considering just getting a different webcam.
Hey everyone! I know it's disappointing getting an error while using any device and software. The team is aware of this and is currently investigating the issue. By the way, have you submitted a case? If yes, please send me your case number or email address via PM so I can check its updates and note additional details. I'll wait for your follow-up.

This needs to be fixed. Rolling out an update this broken is ridiculous. past synapse versions did not have this issue at all.

Hey everyone! I've reported this to our Support Team two days ago. I'll update this thread once I have a follow-up from the team. By the way, please check if you have other apps such as OBS that uses the camera. The third-party app may be taking control of the camera drivers on your PC. Please check its settings or uninstall it to isolate the issue. Should the issue persists, send your logs via the Razer Synapse 3.0's feedback section so it will submit a case to our Support Team. Ensure to put a check/tick mark on the Synapse log file box. Please refer to the screenshot below:
Feel free to send me a PM should you need additional assistance.
