Can't reinstall Razer Synapse software (MACOS 10.13)

Ever since i deleted razer synapse for the first time after a major bug and not being able to run it, ive been trying to reinstall it over and over again but i still cant download it cause it says “installation failed. The installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail.” It has been a year and i still have not been able to fix this myself i need help, big time!

I had the same problem but managed to get it (mostly) working by going into System Preferences → Security & Privacy → Input Monitoring and allowing RzUpdater.app and RzDeviceEngine.app. You may need to add them by going to the + and looking in [your-startup-drive]→ Library→ Application Support → Razer. I found them by using an app called EasyFind (by devontechnologies). If they are not there you could extract them from the package and copy them there.

I do not use the driver any more. I now use Karabiner-Elements (by pqrs) but this is for macOS 11 and higher. I use the Element Viewer to find out the keys on the Orbweaver and then create a profile then ReMap the keys to the game that I am using (WoW, ESO,...). Karabiner-Elements has a menu in the Menu bar similar to Razer where you can easily choose your Profile for your game.

Karabiner-Elements will remap keys/buttons on most input devices (even Wintel only ones) so you are no longer restricted to Mac only devices.

There is also the Koolertron One Handed Macro Mechanical Keyboard (or look-alike) from Amazon or Ebay. It has a Mac app that you can use to assign keys and macros.
