Cannot connect mamba wireless to synapse 2.0 on macbook air 13" 2019

Hello! i have installed synapse 2.0, but after I signed in it could not detect my mouse (razer mamba wireless). My macbook does not have a usb input, so i use a usb to usbc adapter which connects the mouse, and makes it work. I read on razer that it has to be directly connected into your computer, but im wondering if that is not the issue and there is a different issue. I am only getting synapse to change my polling rate, so if there there is another way of doing that, that would be fine too. :) thanks!!
