Thanks for reading this, as I’m pretty screwed.
I’ve got a Razor 15 advanced with an NVIDIA 3070 and a Core I7.
A few days ago, the NVIDIA card stopped working. I hadn’t changed anything. I couldn’t plug in an external monitor, and most games wouldn’t run, since they tried to use the integrated GPU. I updated the NVIDIA driver, as well as Windows. Didn’t help.
So I thought maybe it was an issue with Optimus. I switched it to only use the NVIDIA and bypass the integrated GPU. Big mistake. Now all I get is a blank screen. I see the lights turn on, the Windows sound when it boots up, but I can’t actually see the screen so I can’t switch back to the integrated GPU.
Does anyone know a way to switch to the integrated GPU? Sadly, I have years of work on the laptop…most backed up, but much of it not.
