Change volume while having 7.1 surround sound enabled

I recognized that I can't change the volume via windows when I have the 7.1 surround sound as the sound system enabled. One can only turn it on or of since the windows sound is stil regulated via the channel the 7.1 sound is put on. now this makes it in some cases very complicated bc one has to change the sound provider back and forth just the adjust the volume or just don't use the 7.1 system (which was one of the reasons I bought the headset). sooooo. why isn't this possible? or is there a workaround without ever changing the sound settings? is there a planned software update?

      Are you using the stand-alone surround sound app or Synapse? For now, please perform a clean reinstallation of your Synapse by following this guide. If the problem persists, PM me the serial number of your headset along with a screenshot of your MSINFO32 so I can verify your device's model and take a closer look at your system. *Thread locked to curb the conversation to PMs.
