Charger problem

Hi, My razer laptop charger randomly stops working (the green light on the charger goes off and the laptop stops charging). When I replug the power cord into the charger, it's working again until a random moment when again it goes off. What can I do? Do I have to get a new one?     Did you check/secured if the connection between the power adapter and cable? Does the behavior happen to plug the power adapter into another wall socket?
