Chroma Apps not syncing with supported hardware (Thermaltake, MSI Mystic Light, etc)

So after the recent Synapse update, Razer Chroma Apps are not working with supported hardware, the RGB on supported non-razer devices switches to a random static color and refuse to sync with chroma. Please fix this ASAP. If anyone knows of a fix, please let me know.

So it's still not working. Support hasn't really been much help. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi there! Thanks for sharing your Razer Synapse-related concern here. Have you tried signing out from Razer Synapse 3.0, restarting your computer, and logging back into the Razer Synapse account? Let me know if it helps.

Tried that. It didn't work. The synchronization with supported non-RAZER hardware still doesn't work with Chroma Apps. It works with standard Chroma functions, but none of the Chroma apps like the Audio Visualizer, Overwatch, Doom, etc. are working and they worked perfectly fine before the recent Synapse update. I'm under the impression that this is a bug that requires patching.

Hello there, just stumbled upon this as well. I can adjust all the lighting effect at my MOBO via Mystic Light and Chroma Connect, but Audio Visualizer and supported games like Doom, Divinity II just doesn't wok. The Razer peripherals will work though, such as my keybord, mouse, base station chroma and my Lian Li Razer Edition case.

The connected apps like Visualizer are working with the patch, however the lights of the connected devices turn off after plugging in or removing a USB-device and won't turn on until restarting Synapse. Do you guys have the same issue?

Hey Jerive, I just tested by unplugging and reconnecting my devices and the lights come right back on. And the lights on my ThermalTake fans stay lite as well. I am sorry you are still having issues on your end. I wonder if there are different patches being made by Razer for individual users?

I used the same patch as posted here. Maybe the problem only occurs to ASRock (Polychrome) connected devices.

Hey, the fix is not working anymore, since the new update came in. Currently on the version 3.5.1030.101917

Hi there! I removed the firmware patch posted on this thread since the Razer Synapse 3.0 launched available updates to fix the bugs, including the Razer Chroma Apps lighting effect. Feel free to update this thread or send me a PM should you need additional assistance.
