close synapse 4 and chroma rgb software my keyboard color setting reset to factory setting

  I bought keyboard razer blackwidow V3 special edition from bestbuy express today at Surrey BC guildford Canada, After I done all my color setting using the chroma rgb and synapse 4 software, I close app and all my setting came to factory default, and if I open the software again the settings I did are all back, I seems I must keep these software open all the time to make the color settings stay effect, other brand keyboard some can close program and all color settings stay effective, So for razer product I need to keep the software always on to make all my changes stay effective it that right?  Because all these program are eating 800mb ram total I am just asking if it is what I should do to keep all software on and using system ram to keep all my settings stay effective

Thank you so much for sharing your concern here. This is normal behavior, when Synapse is closed, the keyboard reverts to the default, on-board lighting profile (usually the factory default). Similarly, if the screen is locked or the computer is asleep, Synapse is generally not running its full functions in the background, and the lighting will revert to the default effect. 

To ensure your custom color settings remain active and effective, you will need to keep Razer Synapse open and just minimize it to your system tray.
