Code is invalid, even tho it came with brand new headset

As the title says, i bought a Razer Kraken X headset and i got it today from the big A company. Inside the box i found my code for the Surround thingy, so i scratched the plastic above the code and tried to input it into the app. The thing is, said app keeps telling me my code is invalid, even tho I'm sure it's new cause it had that opaque plastic above. What can I do to fix this issue? Thanks for the help in advance

@APATITEbestDesertSand296 got this headset today and i have same problem as you and still have no idea why the code is invalid.

Hey everyone! Thanks for posting your headset's concern here. Have you checked if you have mistyped the codes? Please watch out for the zero (0) and the letter "O" as they look similar. Should the issue persists, please send me the following: a. Photo showing the source of your code b. Photo showing the error while activating the code. c. The email address associated to your Razer ID. d. Your device's serial number. Save the files via Google Drive or to any online drive account, then paste in your PM. Let's continue from there.
