Computer won't boot when deathadder v2 is connected

When my Deathadder v2 is connected to the computer(via USB), the computer won’t boot and hangs at post. If I force the computer to shut down via power button after this happens, it will usually boot. The thread I linked has the identical problem. The only thing that completely fixed the problem is disabling xhci for USB in BIOS, but then then all the USB3 ports will be slow.

I have had these issues for a long time but it’s only today I discovered it was the mouse. It’s an old computer with the intel 4790k cpu and the asus maximus hero VII, so no more bios updates are available. I have also updated the firmware on the mouse but with the same issues remaining. I have also tried disabling USB during post, same issue, I have tried full initialization.

I have literally tried every possible Bios setting.

I have never had this issue from any mouse in all my life, and it’s crazy that Razor is selling a mouse that cause this.

Please Razor fix this issue with a new firmware update.

Hi @Cherryeverclub247,

Thanks for alerting us about your concern by posting it on the support board. Does the problem persist regardless of whether you installed the Synapse app or not? Please PM me the serial number so I can verify its model and properly document your concern.
