Cursor is stuck at top left corner of the windows

Razer DeathAdder Essential mouse is stuck at top left corner of the windows. Whenever I plug the wire through the usb cable, it drags the cursor to top left corner of the windows and get stuck there. I saw many other people have the same problem. is there any solution for this? Or I have to throw way my mouse. This is really disappointing.
