Hello Razer Support,
I am experiencing an issue with my Cynosa V2 keyboard where the volume keys no longer support holding to increase or decrease volume after updating to Windows 2026 Preview Build 26200.
Details:
-
Keyboard: Cynosa V2
-
Firmware version: 1.0.2.0
-
Synapse version: 4.0.86.2601201054
-
Windows build: 10.0.26200
Problem description:
-
Pressing the volume keys works for single taps, but holding the key no longer produces continuous volume changes.
-
I have tried remapping the volume keys in Synapse, adjusting Windows keyboard repeat settings, and checking all Synapse profiles. The issue persists.
-
Other keyboards on the same machine work normally.
-
This indicates the problem is likely related to Cynosa V2 + Synapse interaction with Windows 26200, rather than Windows itself.
I would like to know:
-
Is this a known issue for Cynosa V2 with Insider/preview builds?
-
Are there any recommended settings, patches, or firmware updates that restore hold-to-volume functionality?
-
Is a fix planned for this issue in Synapse or future firmware releases?
Thank you for your assistance. I hope this can be addressed soon, as it affects basic functionality of the keyboard.
Best regards.
