What is going on with Razer Gift Cards having damaged PINs?
Some weeks back, I bought a $200 giftcard that had the last few digits of the PIN missing/damaged when the back was scratched off. I went through the whole sluggish back-and-forth with support and they took close to a week to get back to me. Their so-called “higher-support” ended up emailing me the full PIN that was damaged, except due to timezone differences, I was not able to use the newly emailed PIN until a few hours later and when I tried it said someone already redeemed the PIN. Keep in mind that prior to getting emailed, I was constantly asking about the PIN and was repeatedly told that it had not been used yet, only upon being emailed the PIN from razer support did this happen. I was then told to file a police report for a mess that was essentially made by THEM, and I’m still in the process of doing that.
Now it happens again. Just bought another card, this time I made sure to scratch the back off as gently as possible, and STILL, the last few digits are missing again. How many times do I have to go through this mess? Why is it a thing? Can I get actual help instead of more problems being made for me?
