I'm facing issues getting my DA2Pro mouse to work when plugged into the USB 1.1 mouse port of the Ugreen HDMI KVM switch (https://www.amazon.sg/UGREEN-Switcher-Extended-Computer-Keyboard/dp/B07M8YZDVZ).
Mouse works fine when connected directly to the PC.
Question: Does the mouse need at least USB 2.0 to function?
Why? (data transfer, power)
Thanks for your help!
Regards,
Daniel

USB 1.1 is too old, too slow. USB 2.0 should be fine, but I always recommend at least USB 3.0.
Also be sure, that your KVM switch have external power supply (for USB devices), because without it - some USB devices are not working properly.

Thanks FiszPL, no idea why manufacturers still use USB 1.1 despite USB 2.0 being the base a long time ago.
My KVM switch has no external power supply and relies on the input connector (eg from PC1/2) to power the hub.
My mouse works on wired but not on dongle, keep getting the USB device not recognized error.
Think I should return this switch and move on to something better despite Ugreen being a respectable brand.
