DeathAdder v2 profile without Synapse

Hello, I'm not a gamer but just would like a very good wired mouse for my professional work. After reading some review, I bought a Razer DeathAdder v2 which seems very good for its features. Now, I want to disable the light or at least set it to a unique color like white (looks more professional). The in-memeory profile should allow this and that one of the reason why I choose this mouse. So, I"ve installed Synapse and configure 3 profiles: light off, light white and Chroma Spectrum (for the fun). But now, I notice that if Synapse is not running the profile doesn't work and the mouse automatically goes to spectrum mode. I'm very frustrated because I don't want Synapse running on my professional laptop (taking up to 100Mb of memory and CPU for the background services) just to keep the light off or white. What is the onboard memory and what is its usage as the software should be running for the profiles to work!? If I know that before, I NEVER had bought this mouse... Thanks for any advises or suggestions

Onboard memory doesn't store Chroma settings. Only keybindings, macros & dpi / hz settings.

Hi FiszPL, thanks for your reply. That's what I suspected. Is there a chance that the Chroma settings one day will be stored in onboard memory like other settings? I don't understand why isn't the case...

It's question for Razer unfortunatelly. I'd also like to have for eg. 3 profiles instead of 5, but be able to store Chroma settings into onboard memory. @Razer.Caziel @Razer.Speedcr0ss @Razer.Xenon ?

Hey FiszPL and LargoWinch2021! The Razer Chroma profiles were designed to be stored via Razer's online cloud servers. If the computer is not connected to the internet (offline), your devices should use the profiles that were saved on your PC, which is in the program data folder. You may send a suggestion to our devs through the Razer Synapse 3.0's feedback section. I’ll be locking this thread now. Feel free to send me a PM anytime or visit our self-help options should you have other questions or concerns.

Thanks.I guess to read the Chroma profiles from the cloud, I need Synapse to be installed and running. But as explained, I don't want this program taking 100Mb of memory and CPU cycles just to keep the light off or white. Moveover on professional laptops managed by the company, I don't have enough privileges to install Synapse. The ideal should be to use Synapse on a personal laptop to configure the Chroma/macro profiles, store them onboard and then using them just by clicking the bottom button. Personnally I don't understand why they're stored in the cloud. What's the added value ?
