Deathadder v3 Wire Disconnects When Jostled

I received a Razer Deathadder v3 for my birthday last April, and after a few months of working splendidly the wire started causing the mouse to disconnect when jostled in my laptop’s USB port. I can get it to connect if I manually position the wire, but it takes up to five minutes of finagling. I’ve been very careful with the mouse, but maybe it’s possible the cord could’ve gotten damaged since it sticks out some when plugged in. I love this mouse and I would like to keep using it if I can, I’m not sure what to do though.
