do i have to pay for thx spatial
Hi , just bought the razer kraken v3 hypersense but its asking me to activate the 7.1 with a code that is not supplied with the head set. i bought it for the 7.1 feature but it doesnt mention anywhere that i have to BUY a code to activate it untill i install the synapse software and then it gives me 2 options, a trial or activate with a code. i have tried the serial number of the headset but it says the device is NOT eligible to recieve an activation code ? Its going back for a refund if i have to pay for something that it misleadingly advertises as coming with it. Any help appreciated , Thanks
just like to add that ive tried getting in touch with "support" but it just sends me around in circles. When i eventually did get to a robot chat and it asked for my question, it didnt actually give me anywhere to write it. is this typical of razer as im new to their products and so far VERY disapointed.
just bought the leviathan v2 has thx spatial stamp on grill tried reinstalling all software finally gave up and downloaded free trial if i have to pay for something that's advertised as being 7.1 thx spatial and no mention of having to pay for it or d load a separate app for it to work then its time to part ways false misleading advertising only drives customers away
i hope this isn't the case.
update ==7.1 is free but it takes far too long to find it also $19.99 dollars should be less in UK due to exchange rates but they still charged £19.99 for a feature that is advertised as being part of the product. very poor unlikely to buy anymore razer products.
Hi Diaza 1 and thank you for the response. Just to clear things up, how do i get the 7.1 activated for free or do i have to buy it first even though its misleading buyers to think it is free with the head set if its not for free.
i had to uninstall synapse 3 and re install it and go through the motions twice before it showed up had to reset mouse kb and goliathus matt and restart pc as it has razer taichi mobo as i had already installed demo it in instructed me to uninstall almost immediately and had to buy thx spatial the stickers should say for gamers by--------- and the 7.1 is free but the thx spatial is 20 bucks

I had not installed demo , yet it is still telling me to buy a code to activate on my pc. this is the only razer product on my pc and soon to be none. I think i will just get a refund from amazon and stay away from the misleading products of razer. thanks for your replies Diaza 1
+1stevenp126If you have Kraken V3... then THX Spatial is enabled in Synapse 3 out of box, no activation required - just go to Audio -> Mixer tab. If you've installed external THX Spatial Audio or 7.1 Surround app - uninstall it. @stevenp126 - the same for your Leviathan V2. Install Synapse 3 if you don't have it, connect leviathan to your PC and go to Audio -> Mixer tab.

If you have Kraken V3... then THX Spatial is enabled in Synapse 3 out of box, no activation required - just go to Audio -> Mixer tab.
If you've installed external THX Spatial Audio or 7.1 Surround app - uninstall it.
@stevenp126 - the same for your Leviathan V2. Install Synapse 3 if you don't have it, connect leviathan to your PC and go to Audio -> Mixer tab.
