Dual Razer Raptor Synapse 3 / RGB Chroma Bugs

I just got up and running with my setup of dual Razer Raptors being run off a Razer Blade 15 2019 OLED RTX 2080.

Chroma only works if the USB-C out is connected (in some way) to your PC. Well... this was a slight issue because as we all know, the Razer Blade 15 only has one USB-C port. Since it only needs to send data to communicate with Synapse I was able to work around this by using an USB-C Female to USB-A Male adapter. I have the left monitor connected to the Blade with an HDMI cable and have the USB-C cable (with the USB-A adapter) going into the USB hub on the back of the right monitor. When I do this, Synapse recognizes the last Raptor you plugged in as "THE" Raptor and only one Raptor shows up in Synapse. The first Raptor you plugged in will no longer communicate with Synapse and will begin spectrum cycling independently.

This also impacts the calibration customization but in a different way. If I adjust the brightness in Synapse, it changes the brightness on both Raptors (you can't tweak them differently, like one for movies and the other for gaming). This is more forgivable than the RBG Chroma bug.

Finally, some of the Chroma effects are... off. For instance, the "wave" effect goes the opposite direction of all my other devices when I use the "Apply to other Chroma-enabled devices" button.

Does anyone have any ideas how this can be addressed?

Hey Kelvalt. I am having an issue even getting Synapse to recognize the monitor at all even though I was connected to an RTX 2080 via USB-C. Can you please tell me which USB-C Female to USB-A Male adapter you purchased?
Here is the one I used: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B079LYHNSR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Note, you have to have the monitor connected to the PC via the USB-C out (w or w/o adapters) to have Chroma/Synapse work at all, even if you're using HDMI or DP.

Thank you! I just ordered from Amazon.
Hey Kelvalt! I am having the same issue with my dual monitors. Only one of them has the chroma lighting options.
We aren’t the only ones. It looks like Razer has admitted it’s not a functionality Synapse currently supports but they’ll escalate to the dev teams for a future rollout hopefully.

Hi everyone! Thanks for posting this on our Support thread. And yes, the Razer Raptor's settings can be controlled when it is connected to Razer Synapse 3.0 via USB-C cable. However, it is odd that the changes don't retain after disconnecting. Please send me a video showing its concern via PM. Let's continue from there.

Support actually helped me out with the Chroma issue. There is a work around currently by using the visualizer app. Here is the chat info:

Thank you for contacting Razer Software Support.

I'm Reynold from the Level 2 Support Department and I will be the one to assist you further on this case. I've checked with the case information and I can see here that this is regarding Synapse unable to detect your second Razer Raptor monitor. We apologize for the inconvenience as Synapse can only detect one device with the same model. This means that you can only customize one of the monitors. You can try and use the chroma visualizer to sync all connected Razer devices on your PC regardless if only one device is detected on Synapse.

Once again, we are sorry for the inconveniences we have caused you and we hope to offer you better services in the future.
