Got an update today which completely destroyed my razer synapse. The update failed repeatedly and so I decided to uninstall razer and perform a clean install. After deleting everything from my files, i tried to reinstall it. I was met with the error code 142 and can't even download synapse anymore. I ran SFC, restarted my pc multiple times, nothing's working.

I get the same problem. Here's what happened.
1. Update popup appeared, I clicked update.
2. Something went wrong with the update and it did not complete.
3. Uninstalled Razer Synapse and subsequent programs.
4. Tried to reinstall just Razer Synapse.
5. Got an installation failed message logfile shows the trace below
