External monitor doesn't work via Thunderbolt 3
I have an external monitor VG2439m-LED for which I use a USB-C to Displayport cable. It works perfectly with the USB C port on the left side of my 2020 Razer Blade Stealth, but when I plug it into the Thunderbolt 3 port on the right, I hear the hardware recognition noise in Windows, but get no signal on the monitor. The cable is a uni Cable from Amazon advertised as being Thunderbolt 3 compatible and others seem to be using it for that function with no issues.
This occurs no matter the Windows display option (duplicate, extend, second screen only). I'm assuming I'm missing something really simple as that port seems to recognize the cable, charges my phone just fine, and that cable works in the other port.
Any ideas why it doesn't work?
Thanks in advance for the help.
