First Gen Razer Core Compatibility with new Razer laptops

Hello, I bought the original first gen razer core many years ago along with a first gen Razer Blade Stealth. I've been wanting to replace the stealth for the newer Razer Book. Can someone help me verify if the Core will be compatible with the Book? Thanks!

Holy cow, I have the same exact question! I'm assuming the USB-C will still work for power, but maybe the Core's GPU is too old for any benefit. BTW, my 1st gen Stealth's frame warped due to the heat. I thought the Core's GPU would help take the load off. Is the heat management better with the new Razer Blades?

Hey Tetraelemental and SamuraiTien. The Razer Core is compatible with laptops that support Thunderbolt 3 external graphics. Also, the Razer Core does not support a USB-C Type-C connection as not all stems with USB-C ports possess a Thunderbolt controller. Better refer to your manufacturer for compatibility (if it is a non-Razer laptop). Should you need more details about the Razer Core's specs/feature, please click this link. I’ll be locking this thread now. Feel free to send me a PM anytime or visit our self-help options should you have other questions or concerns.
