Hey everyone,

Just wanted to share how I fixed a super frustrating issue with my Razer BlackShark V2 Pro (2023) on Windows 11.
Basically, Synapse wasn't saving my audio settings, and the EQ/mic enhancements just refused to work properly after restarting or reconnecting.

Tried reinstalling drivers, Synapse, even THX... nothing worked. But here’s what finally solved it:

  • Download and clean install Windows 10.
(Yeah, I know—sounds dumb, but trust me. Win11 skips some stuff.)

  • After Win10 install, open Windows Update and let it download all missing drivers and updates. This part is key. My headset finally installed correctly here.

  • Once everything works fine on Win10, upgrade back to Windows 11.

  • After upgrade, the system kept the working drivers from Win10 and everything just worked

Are you hearing yourself? Reinstall windows 10 then do windows 11 for the Synapse to work? Are you feeling alright, buddy? I am pretty sure that Razer should fix their software instead of us users suffering through all of this.

Dude, I was just explaining how people who are having issues can fix it. I already bought the headset, and right now I don’t have the budget for a new one, so I have to use it. Unfortunately, the only fix seems to be installing Windows 10 and updating it — that’s when it downloads THX.

It would be better if you specified which specific drivers you installed. I'm having a problem with the mixer on my Synapse 4. It's not adjustable, the settings aren't saved, and it's even physically locked. I can't do anything about it and I can't use it; it's simply bricked.

I later formatted the PC and installed Windows 11 Home. No issues after that.

Make sure to update the dongle and the headset firmware. Windows Update automatically installs THX. Then open Synapse.

Sometimes the EQ still glitches - when that happens, I just open and close Synapse and it fixes it. It's rare though
