Games not appearing on Synapse 3's app list

Hi, I just got a Huntsman Quartz (regular, not Elite or TE). This is my first Razer product so I also installed the Synapse 3 software today. Visualiser appears on the app list and works, I can set up my own profiles in the studio and those work too. However when I open a game (tried League of Legends, Stardew Valley, etc.) the lights do not change into game-custom profiles and the games do not appear on the app list. The 'Chroma Apps' setting is ON. I have tried reinstalling Synapse and googled for HOURS. What should I do?
