Goliathus Extended Chroma continuously disconnects

Hello, I bought a Goliathus Extended Chroma desk pad a few months ago, and recently, it has started randomly disconnecting from my PC. I will hear the Windows USB disconnect sound, and the lighting will reset, and it will do this randomly and sometimes very often. I tried reinstalling Synapse, reinstalling the drivers for the unit, plugging it into multiple USB ports, and it still gives me problems. There is no visible damage to the cable, and I have the cable wrapped neatly and tethered under my desk with a velcro cable tie. Hopefully someone can help me find a solution to this. Thank you!
