Hammerhead TW Right Earbud stopped working after one use

Tested the unit when I got it, it paired fine with the razer app listened to it for a bit and then placed them back in their casing to fully charge. Was going to use them that later that same day only to find out the right earbud doesn't turn on no sound, no tap response. I've tried the workarounds mentioned in the faqs (putting them back in for 5 secs, placing them in the casing and charging for 15, manually pairing them using the tap function) none of them work. are there any other ways to fix it or is my unit just faulty?

      Would it help that this was purchased Nov 28 2021. I've seen a number of post here on the forums with issues of dead earbuds for the Hammerhead TW and thinking could this be a batch problem? most of the post were from 2021
