Headphone jack doesn't respond to earbuds

I have a mid-2018 Blade 15 base model and have no issues using earbuds on bluetooth. The wired headphone jack, however, doesn't register headphones if I just plug them in. I've already re-installed/updated the Realtek(R) audio drivers (I'm not using High Def, just Realtek Audio). On a few occasions, after restarting my laptop with the headphones plugged in, I've noticed that only the headphones work, and if I unplug them, the audio doesn't come out of the speakers. I'm not sure if this is a Windows 10 issue or a Razer issue.

Can anyone advise on a fix?

I'm using these headphones: : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E4LGVUO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

This is highly likely a driver issue. You will want to install Realtek's audio console/manager so you can get pop-ups and get access to more advanced settings like making internal and external output devices play two different audio streams simultaneously. Do send me the serial number of the laptop should you need further assistance.
