Headphone jack doesn't respond to earbuds

I have a mid-2018 Blade 15 base model and have no issues using earbuds on bluetooth. The wired headphone jack, however, doesn't register headphones if I just plug them in. I've already re-installed/updated the Realtek(R) audio drivers (I'm not using High Def, just Realtek Audio). On a few occasions, after restarting my laptop with the headphones plugged in, I've noticed that only the headphones work, and if I unplug them, the audio doesn't come out of the speakers. I'm not sure if this is a Windows 10 issue or a Razer issue. Can anyone advise on a fix? This is highly likely a driver issue. You will want to install Realtek's audio console/manager so you can get pop-ups and get access to more advanced settings like making internal and external output devices play two different audio streams simultaneously.
