Help me - Razer Seiren X Microphone Defective Out of Box

Dear Razer Support,

My Razer Seiren X microphone, which I just opened to use for the first time, makes a constant loud hissing noise.

I’ve tested it on different USB ports, computers, and recording software, but the issue persists, unless I push its mute button.

I purchased the Mic less than 2 years ago, and I understand that the standard warranty period may have passed; however, I’d like to kindly ask if there is any possibility of support or replacement in this case, as the product was unused and kept safely in its original packaging until now. 

I’ve always appreciated Razer’s quality and would be grateful for any assistance you can provide.

Thank you for sharing your concern regarding the loud hissing noise you're experiencing with your Razer Seiren X microphone. Just to clarify, the warranty for the Razer Seiren X does come with a 1-year warranty period from the date of purchase. This applies regardless of whether the device has been used or remained in its original packaging.

 

No worries, could you please try using the microphone both with and without Razer Synapse software running? This will help us determine if the software might be playing a role in the noise.
