I just purchased this^ headset stand and wanted to put it farther away from my computer than the cord length would allow. I tried using a USB extension cord but it didn't work at all. No lights, no power in the USB ports.
I tested the extension cord and it works on other devices. I made sure the stand properly works too.The stand only works with its cord directly in my computer...
I bought this stand so I could charge my devices on it and of course hold my headphones so I would really like to place it where I had envisioned. :(
So.is it one of these issues?:
- I got a faulty headset stand.
- The USB extension cord isn't compatible with the stand
- That's just how it is, no work around.
- Something else...
