How can I recognize Raiju V3 Pro as PS5 Controller on PC?

I want to do touchpad clicks to display a scoreboard or full map in Call of Duty, but I understand that I need to recognize the Raiju as PS5 Controller. Is there anyway to do so?

I received my controller today, I'm gonna use this controller exclusive on pc, i was expecting it to show as a ps5 dualsense controller on pc, but that’s not the case, steam thinks this is a xbox controller(or at least a x-input generic controller) so the touchpad is just re-maped to a random button (x in my case) and there’s no way to remap the button since it does not support steam input (at least yet) and it is not possible to remap the touchpad or the mute button on synapse.

I'm not sure if this controller supports d-input, most likely it doesn’t but i was expecting this controller to show up on pc as a dualsense and not showing xbox prompts in all games since the games see it as a x-input controller.

It’s also a very new controller so it might just need driver support or in steam case controller support i don’t know.

They need to fix this, this is ridiculous, works completely normal on ps5 and then on pc, its an x input so therefore the share button is recognized as the touch pad equivalent and the touch pad is now just a mouse, when you buy a ps5 controller you expect it to function as a ps5 controller, the controller must support d input as rewasd recognizes it as a ps5 controller when you put the switch to ps5, i think they need to release a driver or something to fix this.

I emailed support with suggestions on how they can fix it, and what the problem was and this is what I got back:

“You are absolutely correct that when a PS5 controller is connected to a PC, it defaults to the widely supported X-Input protocol, which leads to the touchpad being incorrectly mapped as a mouse. Currently, the Raiju V3 Pro functions on PC using the X-Input standard.

We understand that this is not the ideal "native PS5" experience you are looking for, particularly for games relying on specific DualSense features. We are constantly evaluating our products and their functionality across different platforms.

We have officially logged your suggestions with our development team for future consideration. User input like this is crucial as we plan updates and new features for our peripherals.“

Guess all we can do is wait, on the bright side, the wolverine v3 pro got a lot of improvements over time software wise and they fix quite a few problems i had back when it released with firmware updates, hopefully the same will happen here.

As much as i like the feel of this controller i value the user experience a lot more, and for now at least the controller is going to stay on the drawer waiting for updates.

You should email the support too, the more we do it, the faster they may fix this, just wanted to note that I think they had this same issue for the ps4 version of the raiju and they did release a driver to fix it.
