TLDR: How do I get an RMA number for this headset I want to return under warranty?

Hello. I am trying to return a headset I purchased (Razer Blackshark V2) back in March 2022. The mic randomly started emitting high pitch, high volume pulsating noise, drowning out my own voice while I was playing a game with friends. The problem arose in the middle of the game, and remained after restarting and updating my computer, restarting and updating razer synapse, unplugging and plugging back in my headset, removing my mic from the headset and reattaching it, blowing out dust from the mic-headset attachment port, and testing the headset on another computer (my laptop).

I judged, disappointed, that the headset's mic had finally died (the headphones still work just fine) which is a shame because it cost me $100 and I've only had it 9 months. I checked the warranty availability, and according to Razer at https://www.razer.com/warranty it says my headset's warranty is 2 years, because I bought it after 2018. Then I tried to follow the instructions on that same page on how to make a warranty claim, but was immediately stopped by the first step: "Go to support.razer.com/contact-us/ to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization Number ("RMA Number")"

The problem is that there's no clear way to get an RMA number once going to this website they direct me to. I need one to make a claim, but can't get one, so therefore can't make a warranty claim for my headset which is still within warranty. I also couldn't contact support about this issue through that page because they only had certain options to choose from, and the only one even relating to getting an RMA number was "check RMA status" which required you to have an RMA number in the first place. So, I came here to ask for help, since I couldn't find anywhere else to do so.

So my question is: How do I get an RMA number for my headset?
Hi AntiNumbskull,

I'm sorry to hear that you're having a hard time attempting to return your device. I can help you kick-start a case for a replacement request and you will receive the RMA number through email. Please PM me the serial number so I can validate its model and we'll take it from there. Thanks!
