How do you stop Razer Deathstalker Pro v2 TKL from color cycling when booting up? | Razer Insider

Hello dear razer users,

As the title suggests I've been having trouble with my new razer product. I have an all white system and enjoy sleek simple themes. Therefore when I first plugged in my keyboard I created an all white profile for it both on chroma studio and basic lighting modes. However, every time I start up my computer my keyboard starts color cycling untill the boot up process is done and synapse starts working. I run in to the same issue every time I switch connection modes like from USB to wireless. It takes a few seconds to connect and the keyboard starts color cycling in between. I am aware that it is not a BIG DEAL for some but it really bugs me.

Furthermore I dont believe you should be having such troubles when you pay premium for these products. Reverting back to the color cycling effect suggests there is a saved default profile in there somewhere. Is there a way to disable it or change it with your preferred profile?

Thanks for the help in advance.

It’s a default thing. Unfortunately Chroma settings are not saved onto onboard memory, so it’ll back to default every boot, and set to your preferred setting when Synapse is running.

Thank you for the reply.  Is thre any way to flash the “default”?

I don’t think so. IMO it can be only done at firmware level.

I agree. I downloaded the latest one but it should be a custom firmware and I dont have the skill to create one for myself. Thank you for the response.
