Huntsman Elite (Linear optical Switches) technical issue


Hello Insiders,



I just received my new huntsman elite (linear optical) keyboard and the "L" key in the keyboard is not working. I tried resetting the keyboard and it still doesn't work. This is my 3rd replacement for the same product and all 3 keyboards had the same issue "L" key not working.

Does anyone else had the same issue, and if there is any way to fix this issue can you please let me know.

Since this is the third replacement you've gotten, could you share the troubleshooting steps you've taken so far? Better yet, PM me your ticket numbers so I can review them myself.

I tried the following troubleshooting steps
1. I followed the steps mentioned on Razer support in hard resetting the keyboard by pressing "Esc", "Caps" and "Space bar"
2. I updated the firmware as mentioned in the Razer support.
3. I tried the same in other computers, but still "L" key doesn't work.

I think it might be a software issue because chances of a single key not working in 3 different keyboards due to a hardware issue, is very slim.

Am I missing any steps or is there anything else that I can do.

Have you tried binding another function to the L key to test if it registers? Which keyboard layout do you have set as default on Windows keyboard settings? Does the problem persist with and without Synapse running in the background? *Locking the thread to curb conversation to PMs.
