Huntsman: Lighting Setting not applied to profile / Default Spectrum Cycling on new PC

Dear community, I have got myself a brand new Razer Huntsman Keyboard, which showed me the color animation "Spectrum Cycling" when first connected to my PC. Using Synapse 3 on Windows 10, I changed the color scheme to a custom one, but the keyboard returned back to the default spectrum cycling when I closed Synapse or booted another operating system on my machine. I am looking for a method that allows me to use a different color scheme than spectrum cycling without Synapse 3 running in the background (e.g. when I want to boot a different operating system). Here are the steps I have already tried in Synapse 3: * Keyboard -> Lighting Tab: Select my color scheme in "Advanced Effects" OR Select one of the Quick Effects for my profile * Keyboard -> Customize Tab: Copy the profile to the on-board memory * Close Synapse 3 (Keyboard goes to spectrum cycling) * Use the fn key + the profile key to select the on board profile * Nothing happens, the keyboard stays in spectrum cycling Is there something I am doing wrong here, or is this a bug?     This isn't a bug at all. It's just that without Synapse, your Razer Huntsman Elite will only light up with its default effect which is the Spectrum Cycling.

    Hi again, Thank you for your reply. This is very sad. From my understanding, profiles (that can be copied to the on-board memory) can be used to store settings to the keyboard to be used on different PCs (or operating systems) without the software running in the background. This seems to be working for macros, key bindings and even the brightness of the LEDs. Only the color effects are not stored and applied. I would have at least expected the quick effects to work in this way (in fact, the software even tells me that they are stored to the profile). So it seems when using Linux, I have to stick to spectrum cycling or turning the LEDs off completely. The Razer Huntsman (I don't have the Elite version) is not supported by the Open Razer project.
