I Can move my mouse pointer with trackpad, but can´t make click with it (Tap function) Blade 16-2023 | Razer Insider

Want to see if anyone had ideas here.

I have a razer Balde 16 (2023) i9/13950HX + 4090, and since I bought it has replaced the desktop I had, and it has been on my desk since I bought it, and never retrieve it of my thunderbolt 4 dock station, so I can´t remember if my trackpad was defective or not, and my laptop is now out of limited warranty.

I had problems with synapse 3, so I moved with the beta version (No problems so far), I have reinstalled drivers, disabled USB power saving, updated Windows fully including all option driver updates, clean re-installation and updated of Synpase and run its updates.

As explained on title, yesterday I was cleaning my laptop, I disconnected it of my dock station to clean it and tried to use the touchpad, but for my surprise, I was able to move the pointer, but unable to tap it (click function), so I had to use an external mouse. I have been playing with all kind of settings for the touchpad with no success.

So, I wonder if anyone have ever had this kind of problems with touchpad? Could be a defective touchpad? The fact that I can move the pointer with the touchpad, but can’t make click on it (Tap it) could be related with software issues? Are movement and tap functions controlled by different hardware components?

Any comments help or advice will be highly appreciated
