I can't pick 7.1 Surround Sound in my pc

I installed 7.1 Surrround Sound for my new Blackshark V2 X. After installing,it requires me to change the volume setting to 7.1 Surround Sound. I tried but it keeps blinking and the volume setting starts lagging. After I restart the pc, the 7.1 Surround Sound option is not there but the software is still in my pc. What should I do?
