In the "Linked Games" of my mouse profile, I can't use apps like Google Chrome or Plex anymore

Hi!

I was using Chrome as a Linked Game for my mouse Web Browser profile but it’s not working anymore. The Synapse service doesn’t detect when I focus the Chrome app.

It was working with Synapse 3 and with the first version of Synapse 4 I had on my computer but since yesterday a new version was automatically installed.

I just added chrome.exe ("C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe", default installation) to Linked Games so it’s easy to reproduce.

 

I have the exact same problem with Plex app since I installed Synapse 4.

Hi!

Aside from checking the latest Synapse and Windows OS update, please check if the issue persists after restarting your computer. Otherwise, please remove all Razer-related files from your PC by installing the Razer Driver Clean-up tool here. Once done, please restart your computer and reinstall the Razer Synapse 3 or 4 (including all Synapse & Windows updates if there are any) and see if that helps.
