Input Lag from USB Port on Razer Mouse Dock Chroma

Hi, I've purchased a Mouse Dock Chroma to go with my Wireless Deathadder V2, and I've noticed that when I plug the 2.4 GHz receiver into the USB port on the Mouse Dock, I get a massive increase in the input lag on my mouse. It's like the cursor keeps snagging on the screen, it's so bad it's unusable for anything other than basic web browsing. However, when I instead plug the receiver into the USB passthrough on my keyboard, the input lag disappears entirely. So I know that the issue is related specifically to the USB port on the mouse dock. Has anybody else ran into this problem? Is it a known issue? Or is my mouse dock defective?

Hi there! Thanks for initiating this thread. Are you referring to this dock? It is recommended to connect the USB dongle of any wireless mouse directly to the computer's USB port. Also, ensure that your Deathadder V2's firmware is update by clicking this link.

This link does not work for me, it attempts to open a browser window but nothing happens, how can I download the firmware update? I have had a lot of problems with the same issue OP is talking about

To follow up on this, yes, it is the mouse dock shown. I've updated the firmware on the mouse and it hasn't had an impact on the wireless performance. If it is recommended that the wireless dongle is connected to one of the USB ports on my computer, then why does Razer show the mouse dongle connected to the USB port in the mouse dock in it's promotional material? Why does Razer SPECIFICALLY call out the USB-A port in the mouse dock as 'for mouse dongle'. I'm extremely unimpressed with this product at this point.
