Hello

I use Razer synap 3 on 3 pcs and download software direct from razer website.

I found a lot of messages from Norton Antivirus from all pcs show like this

Category: Norton Product Tamper Protection

Date & Time,Risk,Activity,Status,Recommended Action,Date,Actor,Actor PID,Target,Target PID,Action,Reaction

12/5/2562 13:14:42,Medium,Unauthorized access blocked (Access Thread Data),Blocked,No Action Required,12/5/2562 13:14:42,C:\\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\\RAZER\\RAZER SERVICES\\GMS\\STEAMCMD\\STEAMCMD.EXE,23508,C:\\Program Files\\Norton Security with Backup\\Engine\\22.17.1.50\\NortonSecurity.exe,6516,Access Thread Data,Unauthorized access blocked

So this service safe or not.

Thank

Razer Synapse is a virus-free software. I tested this on VirusTotal and studied internet traffic on my own computer. If I were you I would refrain from using services like Mcafee and Norton as they reduce PC performance and tend to have adware. If you want to keep your computer safe then I suggest scanning any downloaded files with Virustotal or using open source anti-virus programs like Clamwin.
