My Iskur Chair has a cracked Weld on the BASE Plate where the gas strut goes into. This makes the chair unstable.  Please can anyone suggest how I can buy a new base plate (out of warranty). or if anyone knows of an alternative base plate thats compatible ?  Love the chair other wise !!

same issue! broken weld at upper piston mounting point causing wobbling and leaning.
my chair is a year+ out of warranty.
i called the support number: 1 (855) 872-5233
I told them exactly what happened and  i just need to buy the part. they emailed me a diagram, part “H” is what you want (they sent me the smallest picture).
i will continue to update until resolved. i hope this helps yall as i’ve been pulling my hair out trying to find answers.

heard back within the hour. got a link to purchase the plate and gas lift. both parts cost $34 each. total with tax and shipping was $73.62. not bad at all

Can I please have details of where to purchase that plate ( H ).  I’ve posted for help, but they do not reply at all. TIA

Whats the link? I need the same thing. I cannot remove the current plate from the piston, I spent HOURS hammering it like they show, it does not come off. Just need a new center piston to attach to the replacement base they insisted would be all I needed.

Hi all, for anyone that has replaced do the new parts seem any more reliable than those that failed? I’d talked with Razer when my height/tilt lock were no longer functional and the quoted fix was 4 parts for ~$200, and now the baseplate is cracked as well.

Given the number of similar posts reporting failures, if the new parts don’t appear different would rather replace the chair than risk having to do this again in another few years.
