Issue with Huntsman V2 Analog Keyboard - Joystick Bind Feature Disabling Mouse in Games | Razer Insider
Skip to main content

I am reaching out for assistance with an issue I'm encountering with my Razer Huntsman V2 Analog keyboard. I have fully updated all relevant software and firmware, and even tried reinstalling the Razer software, but the problem persists.

  • When using the "Bind WASD keys to controller joystick" feature on my Huntsman V2 Analog keyboard, the mouse input is disabled in certain games. This issue has occurred in "Assassin's Creed Odyssey" and "Resident Evil Village."
  • Enabling this feature causes the mouse input to become unresponsive, preventing camera control in-game. This only happens while pressing the WASD keys.
  • I've ensured that all my drivers and the keyboard's firmware are up to date, and the issue occurs even after reinstalling Razer Synapse.

This issue significantly impacts my gaming experience, as it renders the joystick bind feature unusable in these games. It seems to be a compatibility problem with the gamepad emulation of the keyboard and how certain games respond to it.

I would greatly appreciate any advice, solutions, or workarounds you can provide. Is this a known issue, and are there any plans for a firmware update or software patch to resolve this compatibility problem?

Thank you for your assistance.
