Issue with MW5 and a DeathAdder

I am running Win10 Pro, current updates, and a Death Adder, Model Number RZ01-0201.

I am having problems getting the top buttons to work in MW5 Mercenaries. (Also MW5 makes the lights on my Death Adder, Black Widow, and Orbweaver have a seizure.... but that's a separate thing)
I have tried the top buttons on setting "Key Recording" and "Alphanumeric" neither work in game, when i test it say in notepad, it puts the attached key as it should, so the software IS working, but MW5 does not recognize it.

Any ideas on getting this to work?
