Issue with Naga Pro side panels

So I love my Naga Pro. It's the best mouse I've ever used. I play a lot of WoW so having a mouse with 12 side buttons is a must and the versatility and connectivity of the Naga Pro make it my favorite mouse by far. I only have one issue with it. Sometimes, while I'm using the mouse I'll notice the buttons on the side panel are not working. This usually comes with the lights on the side panel changing color to that of other profiles on the mouse or shutting of entirely. The lights tend to change when I push in on the side panel at different points. This has led me to believe that the issue is that the connection gets a little messed up. I can usually solve this issue by removing the side panel and giving it a quick wipe down again the pins and connectors. Has anyone else experienced this issue, and is there a way to prevent this from happening? It's very problematic if this happens while I'm playing and I feel this is an issue that really shouldn't occur in the first place. Didn't think about saying this till later but also I had a similar issue when I had the Razer Naga Trinity instead.

This sounds somewhat similar to the problem I've run into... one particular side panel (the six-button one) has a couple of buttons that occasionally seem to freeze - if a button is pressed it'll stay on even after I release it, and the same vice versa. Detaching and reattaching the panel sometimes works, but not consistently. Switching to a different panel generally does work. I'll try the wipe-down approach next time, maybe that'll help. It's a little annoying that this happens in the first place, though. It's not a cheap mouse.
